CHARLOTTE, N.C.—This spring, the Billy Graham Library will host annual favorites, the Mother’s Day Breakfast and Tour and Doughnuts with Dad, and will feature a new special display in The Journey of Faith tour.
On Saturday, May 7, mothers of all ages and their families will attend the sold-out Mother’s Day Breakfast and Tour at the Billy Graham Library. This is a time to honor mothers with a delicious buffet breakfast, an uplifting message and a guided Journey of Faith tour.
The Billy Graham Library will then host Doughnuts with Dad on Saturday, June 18, from 9:30 a.m.-noon. Fathers will spend a special morning with their families, enjoying complimentary doughnuts and beverages. All fathers will also receive a special gift of appreciation. No registration is required.
From May 2 to the end of June, the Billy Graham Library will feature a new special display, Power of Christ in the Home, in The Journey of Faith. Visitors will get an intimate look into Billy and Ruth Graham’s Christ-centered home and will see personal memorabilia, a family Bible and more never-before-seen items. This special display is free to view and open to the public. Featured items include:
- Ruth Bell Graham’s sewing box—sewing shears, Franklin Graham nametape, Victorinox brand sewing kit, hot iron cleaner, etc.
- Graham family checkerboard—checkerboard with engravings that was used by Billy and Ruth, their children and grandchildren
- Valentine’s Day cards between Billy and Ruth Graham
