Recorded live at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, program will premiere on Monday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Dec. 16, 2021 – With the advent season in full swing, Evangelist Will Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association will premiere an online Christmas Celebration on Monday, Dec. 20, at 8 p.m. ET. Through a message titled “The Cradle, the Cross and the Crown,” Graham shares the hope found in a relationship with Jesus Christ, whose birth we celebrate on Christmas.
The program will stream online at www.WillGrahamLive.com, and will be available for on-demand viewing for one week following the premiere.
“True peace only comes through Jesus, the perfect Lamb of God who took away the sin of the world,” said Graham during his message, which was recorded live on location at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte. “That Baby that changed the world 2,000 years ago wants to change your life tonight.”
Graham is joined for the Christmas Celebration by his sister Cissie Graham Lynch, who serves as the host of the program, and award-winning artist Ellie Holcomb, who will perform Christmas classics and favorites. Together the three reminisce about Christmas memories and traditions, while reflecting on the hope of Jesus Christ.
A Spanish-language version of the program, featuring celebrated musical guest Lilly Goodman, will premiere simultaneously at es.BillyGraham.org/Navidad2021. Additionally, the special will be translated into American Sign Language and posted to www.Facebook.com/ASLbythelight.
The online Christmas Celebration is becoming a standard for Graham, following last year’s Christmas event which was broadcast live from the Billy Graham Training Center at The Cove in Asheville. More than 24,000 people – representing 45 countries around the world – tuned in for that outreach, with 868 indicating that they made a decision to follow Jesus.
