CHARLOTTE, N.C., Aug. 6, 2018 – The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is partnering with satellite radio provider SiriusXM for the launch of a permanent channel called The Billy Graham Channel. The channel will be headlined by the inspiring messages of the late world-renowned Christian evangelist and will feature his timeless sermons from his many years in ministry.
The Billy Graham Channel will debut on Monday, Aug. 20, on SiriusXM Channel 460. This channel will become SiriusXM’s fifth spoken-word channel under their “Religion” heading and the first featuring a continuous delivery of evangelistic content.
Since last November, for Mr. Graham’s 99th birthday, The Billy Graham Channel has appeared as a limited-run offering on four occasions, including a tribute channel in conjunction with his passing in February. For the past nine months, SiriusXM subscribers have been contacting both the broadcast company and the BGEA, asking for more of The Billy Graham Channel. They will soon be able to listen to new messages from the archives of Graham’s inspirational messages and sermons.
Franklin Graham, CEO of the BGEA, shared: “We’re excited that SiriusXM Radio will have a permanent Billy Graham Channel. Many people have told us how much it has meant to them to hear my father’s timeless messages of truth. I hope everyone will check it out!”
Subscribers will be able to listen to SiriusXM Channel 460 on select satellite radios and via online streaming at https://siriusxm.us/TheBillyGrahamChannel.
