News Bulletin: Approximately 1,800 attend the second stop of the Sunshine State Good News Tour at Depot Park in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla., Oct. 28, 2025 – Approximately 1,800 people braved the wet and cooler-than-normal weather at Gainesville’s Depot Park on Tuesday, Oct. 28, for the second night of the four-city Sunshine State Good News Tour with Will Graham. The evening outreach featured music by award-winning Christian artists Jeremy Camp and Christine D’Clario, followed by a message based on the parable of the Prodigal Son (found in Luke 15) by evangelist Will Graham.

“God wants to give you the gift of eternal life, and He gives it to you freely. It’s a gift, but you have to be willing to accept it. You have to be willing to come to Him on His terms, not your terms,” said Graham. “Your terms have left you where you are now, but when you come home to Him, you become a child of God. Return to Him tonight.”

At the end of the evening, more than 80 people from across the park responded to Graham’s invitation to begin a relationship with Jesus Christ.

More than 135 churches across the Gainesville area were involved in the Sunshine State Good News Tour, with the goal of reaching their region with the hope of the Gospel.

On Sunday evening, Oct. 26, approximately 2,800 people attended the opening night of the Sunshine State Good News Tour in Tallahassee. More than 90 people responded to the Gospel at that outreach.

The Sunshine State Good News Tour with Will Graham will now continue on to Sarasota (Oct. 30), before concluding in Pompano Beach on Saturday (Nov. 1). Events begin at 7 p.m. each evening.
