CHARLOTTE, N.C., June 7, 2022 – The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) is preparing to host pastors and leaders of Spanish-speaking churches at a series of “Summits de Evangelismo” (Evangelism Summits). The Summits will be held in Fullerton, California, on Aug. 6; Chicago, Illinois, on Sept. 10; and Coppell, Texas, on Oct. 15.
In 2021, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association launched its Hispanic Initiatives Ministry to focus on reaching the nearly 61 million Spanish-speaking people living in the U.S. “These Summits are designed to encourage, as well as challenge, the Hispanic church to respond to the Biblical call of proclaiming the Good News of Jesus,” said Chris Swanson, vice president of Hispanic Initiatives. “Times are urgent. The Hispanic community is a great force for the Kingdom. We are excited to have these moments together with pastors and leaders.”
The Summits will feature multiple speakers and music by Daniel Calveti, a Venezuelan Christian artist. Event registration is required, but is free to all attendees and includes materials and meals.
