The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association to host “Summit de Evangelismo” for Hispanic church leaders

NEW YORK, Oct. 17, 2024 — The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will train and encourage Hispanic pastors and church leaders through its “Summit de Evangelismo” (Evangelism Summit) in Queens on Oct. 26, 2024.

The Summit, which will be held at Aliento de Vida (103-12 Roosevelt Avenue, Queens, NY 11368), will feature a variety of teachers and speakers that will explore biblical topics like making disciples, uniting the church, defending the Gospel and living holy lives.

“Hispanic churches in the United States are growing at an incredibly fast rate,” said Joe Mott, senior director of Hispanic Ministries at BGEA. “BGEA is hosting ‘Summits de Evangelismo’ to equip, mobilize and partner with the Hispanic church to have the greatest Gospel impact possible.”

BGEA’s Hispanic Ministries first launched in 2021, affirming the organization’s commitment to teaching and discipling the Spanish-speaking community in the United States. The “Summits de Evangelismo” seek to foster a sense of unity, collaboration and encouragement among attendees. These events are designed to equip Hispanic church leaders with practical tools to effectively spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Attendance is free and includes lunch and materials. The event will begin at 10 a.m., and will conclude at 4 p.m. It will primarily be held in Spanish, with translation services available in both English and Spanish as needed. Any pastor or leader of an evangelical church in the United States is invited to participate. To learn more or to register for BGEA’s “Summit de Evangelismo,” visit summitevangelismo.com.
