Franklin Graham Welcomed to Argentina by President Javier Milei ahead of Esperanza Buenos Aires
BUENOS AIRES, Nov. 4, 2025 — Franklin Graham was privileged to receive a warm welcome to Argentina by President Javier Milei during a special meeting at the Casa Rosada today. The international evangelist arrived in Buenos Aires this afternoon ahead of Esperanza Buenos Aires, where he will be sharing a message of God’s loveat Velez Stadium this Friday and Saturday.
“It is a great honor to be back in Argentina and to meet President Milei. He is leading this country after a very important election, and we need to pray for him and all of the political leaders whose decisions affect the lives of millions of Argentinian people,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse. “I’m grateful for the opportunity to be here, and I’m looking forward to Esperanza Buenos Aires. This is not a political event—I’m no politician. I’m a preacher of the Good News of Jesus Christ, and I’m thankful nearly 2,500 churches are partnering with us to reach Argentina with the Gospel. We want the people of this incredible country to know that God loves and cares for them.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the free and family-friendly two-night event at Velez Stadium, which will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. There will be live music from different Christian artists each night, including Rescate, a local Argentinian Christian band, Latin Grammy-nominated rapper, Redimi2, Grammy-winning American musician Michael W. ABOUT FRANKLIN GRAHAM AND THE BILLY GRAHAM EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION
Founded by Billy Graham in 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association shares the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. Franklin Graham is continuing the lifelong work of his father, Billy Graham, who preached to 259,000 people in Buenos Aires in November 1991. The event at Estadio Monumental had a tremendous impact on the church in Argentina and many of the people whose lives changed during that outreach are now partnering with Franklin Graham and BGEA to reach Buenos Aires once more with the power of the Gospel.
Franklin Graham held his first evangelistic event in 1989, and since then, he has preached at more than 345 outreaches in 55 countries. Earlier this year, Rev. Graham proclaimed the hope of Jesus Christ in Brussels, Belgium; London, England; and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After preaching in Buenos Aires, he is looking forward to sharing the Gospel in Nagaland, India; Siem Reap, Cambodia; Lima, Peru; and Madrid, Spain, in the coming months.
