Franklin Graham calls America to pray for the president

Franklin Graham and more than 300 Christian leaders set aside Saturday, June 2 as a special day of prayer for the President.

“This is a critical time for America,” Graham said. “We believe our nation is at a crossroads, at a dangerous precipice. The only one who can fix our country’s problems is God Himself, and we pray that God will bless our president and our nation for His glory.”

He and the participating leaders called on pastors and church congregations to pray that God would protect, strengthen, embolden, and direct President Donald Trump.

Franklin Graham concludes Decision America Northeast Tour

From May 19-30, Franklin Graham reached more than 31,000 with the Gospel message during his seven-city evangelistic tour across the Northeast.

From Portland, Maine, to Syracuse, N.Y, Graham called the crowds at each stop of the Decision America Northeast Tour to pray for not only their local and national leadership, but also for the Church.

“The Northeast is one of the most secular regions of our country,” said Graham. “Many people there do not believe in God. Many more don’t believe the Bible is accurate… We pray that the Church will be faithful.”

Will Graham signs copies of his first book at the Billy Graham Library

On June 5, evangelist Will Graham signed copies of his book titled Redeemed: Devotions for the Longing Soul.

“It is exciting to do a book signing in the Billy Graham Library because my grandfather’s legacy and message lives on here, and because much of the book also focuses on that same message,” Graham said. “[This book] is about the Lord Jesus Christ and Him alone. It’s not about my experiences. It’s not about Will Graham; it’s not about the ministry. It’s about the Lord redeeming all of mankind.”

Redeemed is a collection of 50 short devotionals, each with a Bible verse, a quote from Billy Graham, a story (often from the life and ministry of Will Graham or Billy Graham) and a biblical lesson.

Purchase your own copy of Redeemed here, and see more information about upcoming events at the Billy Graham Library by visiting billygrahamlibrary.org.

Fearless with Cissie Graham Lynch podcast debuted June 6

Cissie Graham Lynch, daughter of Franklin Graham and granddaughter of Billy Graham, has launched a new podcast titled Fearless with Cissie Graham Lynch: Fearless Faith in a Compromising Culture. The free and easily-downloadable offering will feature Biblical insight into standing boldly for God’s truth―and her heart for inspiring others to do the same.

“One of the most important lessons I learned from my parents and my grandparents was to never compromise my beliefs because of what the world says,” said Graham Lynch. “I want to help people navigate these tough issues and to give them practical ways to live out their faith in truth and love and to be unapologetic and fearless in a world that is forever compromising.”

Fearless is available for streaming and download through SoundCloudApple Podcasts and other podcast players, and can be streamed directly at cissiegrahamlynch.com. Listeners can also follow Cissie on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter.
