New Haven, Conn., Sept. 18, 2026 – In the home city of Yale University—which was originally founded to train Christian ministers—evangelist Will Graham proclaimed the Gospel of Jesus Christ on Friday at the fourth stop of the Declaration of Dependence Tour.
“There are some of you who may be very spiritual, but you don’t know God personally. Today you can know Him,” said Graham. “Surrender your past. Surrender your present—your life right now. Surrender your future. ‘Lord, it’s all Yours. From now on, I’m going to serve You.’ Jump into the embrace of Jesus.”
As he concluded his brief message, Graham encouraged those in attendance to turn to Jesus Christ in repentance and faith, accepting the gift of salvation that God promises to those who follow Him.
The hour-long outreach at the New Haven Green included a dedicated time of prayer for our country, our military and first responders, our churches and our families. Josh Havens, lead singer of the Christian band The Afters, led a time of acoustic worship.
