MEDIA ALERT: This Tuesday, Franklin Graham brings God Loves You Tidewater Tour to Cecil County, Maryland

WHO:
Evangelist Franklin Graham is bringing a message of hope to the Tri-State area on the third stop of the God Loves You Tidewater Tour. The program in Elkton will include live performances by Grammy-nominated, platinum-selling Newsboys, five-time Latin Grammy-winner Marcos Witt, and award-winning musician Dennis Agajanian. The event is free, family-friendly, and all are welcome. In addition to serving as president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, which shares the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world, Franklin Graham leads Samaritan’s Purse, an international Christian relief and evangelism organization with work in more than 170 countries and territories, including war-torn Ukraine.

WHAT:
The God Loves You Tidewater Tour is an outreach of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), and it is visiting six cities in Maryland, Virginia, and North Carolina this spring. During each event, Franklin Graham will remind people that God cares for them and has a purpose for their lives. More than 200 churches from the Tri-State area are working with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association because they say the life-changing message of the Bible needs to be shared in Cecil County, Maryland. Over the past seven years, more than half a million people have attended Graham’s tours across all 50 states.

Dr. Timothy Britton, lead pastor of Crossroads Bible Church in Elkton, said, “In the 23 years I have served as a pastor here in Cecil County, Maryland, I have seen countless lives ruined by drug overdoses, homelessness and crime. People are looking for deliverance from spiritual darkness—they need hope.”  He continued saying, “I am totally convinced that an authentic relationship with Jesus Christ can meet the deepest need of every heart. Only He can bring light, peace and true meaning to our communities, country, and world.”
