WHAT:
The Billy Graham Library will host a ladies tea with guest speaker and author, Martha Davidson. Together with her late husband, Guy Davidson, Martha served in ministry for over 50 years, founding Grace Community Church in Tempe, Arizona, where Franklin Graham was ordained in 1982. Martha also founded WOW: Women of the Word, a women’s ministry that led hundreds of ladies in weekly Bible study.
Following Guy’s catastrophic stroke in 2000, the couple began the process of writing their story of hope and faith in the midst of personal struggle. Martha finished compiling the book, When the Unexpected Happens: Looking Up With Hope When Life Brings You Down, after Guy’s death in 2016. Many years in the making, the book was published in 2024.
Guests will enjoy an elegant tea party—including tea sandwiches, scones, and various desserts—and an encouraging, Christ-centered message from Martha Davidson.
This event is sold out, but media are invited to cover the luncheon.
