WHAT:
Volunteers from across the region will take part in Love in Action, a community service-focused outreach of the Iowa Celebration with Will Graham. Teams of local Christians will work on projects ranging from serving at area non-profits to building houses.
WHO:
Dozens of volunteers – representing churches city-wide – will engage in Love in Action. They are motivated to be “the hands and feet of Jesus” as they serve their community.
WHEN and WHERE:
Love in Action will be held at a variety of locations on Sept. 3-4, 2021.
Sites / projects will include:
- The Free Store – Arranging inventory
- Hope Ministries Thrift Store – Various projects
- Greater DSM Habitat for Humanity – House construction
- Greater DSM Habitat for Humanity ReStore – Various projects
- Food Bank of Iowa – Food sorting
- Ruth Harbor Ministries – Cleaning, organizing and weeding
- DMARC Meals From The Market – Collect meals
- Agape DSM – Cleaning, organizing and weeding

IOWA CELEBRATION WITH WILL GRAHAM:
The Iowa Celebration with Will Graham is a free and family-friendly event coming to Wells Fargo Arena in Des Moines, Oct. 1-3, 2021. It will feature music from award-winning Christian bands and messages from evangelist Will Graham. It is open to everybody and all are welcome to attend.
WILL GRAHAM:
Will Graham is the third generation of Grahams to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ under the banner of the BGEA. He is the grandson of Billy Graham and the oldest son of Franklin Graham. Will has spoken to more than one million people on six continents since beginning his evangelistic ministry in 2006.
