WHAT:
The 13-state Declaration of Dependence Tour with Will Graham has brought prayer and evangelism across New England and the Mid-Atlantic in recent weeks. As it continues its path through the original U.S. colonies, the Tour will stop in Roanoke, Virginia, and Frederick, Maryland, next week. Along with a time of worship and prayer, Graham will proclaim the Good News of the Gospel during these brief noontime events.
WHO:
Will Graham is the third generation of his family to proclaim the love of Jesus Christ under the banner of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. He has shared the Gospel with more than 1.2 million people in live audiences across six continents since beginning his evangelistic ministry in 2006.
Graham will be joined for the Declaration of Dependence Tour by Josh Havens, of the award-winning Christian band The Afters. Havens will lead an acoustic time of worship at each stop.
NEXT WEEK’S EVENTS:
Oct. 12: Roanoke, Virginia – Elmwood Park Amphitheater
Oct. 14: Frederick, Maryland – Baker Park Bandshell
QUOTE:
Will Graham: “As we continue to commemorate our country’s 250th birthday, it seems that many across the nation are declaring their independence from God. They don’t want Him in their lives. At the same time, I believe that now is the moment to turn back to our Savior—thanking Him for His faithfulness and truly acknowledging our dependence on Him. At the Declaration of Dependence Tour, we’ll spend time in prayer and praise. Then I’ll share the timeless truth of the Gospel and give people a chance to respond and place their faith in Jesus.”
