CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 24, 2018—At a time when people across America are filled with fear, uncertainty and anger, Franklin Graham wants Californians to join him in prayer—asking God to use his miraculous power to heal the political, racial and cultural divisions that are plaguing our country.
On May 20, Graham will launch Decision America California Tour in Escondido. The festive, family friendly event begins at 7:30 p.m. at Grape Day Park.
Following the launch in Escondido, the tour will continue across California with events in Pasadena, Oxnard, Bakersfield, Fresno, Modesto, Santa Clara, Berkeley, Chico and Redding.
“We need a spiritual revival; we need an awakening across this country. America is in trouble and needs prayer more than ever,” said Franklin Graham, president of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and the international Christian relief organization Samaritan’s Purse.
Along with prayer, each of the one-day Decision America California Tour events will feature live music from Grammy- and American Music Award-nominated artist Jeremy Camp, and a message of hope from Graham.
Decision America California Tour is free, and everyone is invited to attend.
“We all face crossroads in our lives—moments when we need to make important decisions,” said Graham. “Through these events across California, people will have the opportunity to make a decision that can impact their lives not only now, but for eternity.”
Graham started Decision America in 2016 when he held events in all 50 state capitals. He continued the tour in 2017 by traveling to 11 cities across Tennessee and Texas, where Graham wanted to share the same life-changing message of Jesus Christ in smaller communities that larger events may not typically visit. The events drew more than 70,000 people.
