FRANKLIN GRAHAM RETURNING TO THE UK TO SHARE MESSAGE OF HOPE IN MANCHESTER

Revd Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) are looking forward to working alongside hundreds of churches in North West England to bring the God Loves You Tour to Manchester. All are welcome to attend the free and family-friendly event at the largest entertainment arena in the UK—Co-op Live—on 3 October 2026.

“Manchester is a vibrant city where people from many nations live and work together. Amidst this diversity and our differences, there is one unifying hope for all—God’s Son, Jesus Christ,” said Reji Varghese, a local pastor. “The upcoming God Loves You Tour is a powerful opportunity to share His love, bring healing, and transform lives across our city.”

The Billy Graham Rapid Response Team recently deployed crisis-trained chaplains to Manchester to minister to those who were shocked and grieving after two people were killed and several others were wounded in a horrific synagogue attack.

“We bring a message of hope for all people,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of BGEA. “We want to share the Good News that God loves and cares for the people of this great city and has a plan and a purpose for their lives.”

This will be the ninth stop of the God Love You Tour in the UK since 2022, including three events in London, as well as stops Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, and South Wales.

This past June, Revd Graham preached at ExCeL London, where every seat was filled and the walls were lined with people. There were 17,000 people in attendance and security officers at the venue turned thousands of others away when the arena was filled to overflowing. When Revd Graham invited those in the crowd to respond to the message of God’s love, hundreds came forward, including large numbers of young people.

Revd Jeremiah Dawood, the pastor of one of the participating churches in London, said, “I thank God for Revd Franklin Graham’s faithful ministry and the God Loves You Tours, which have left a lasting impact on countless lives in the UK. We look forward with great anticipation to his return and to all that God will continue to do through this mission.”

BGEA will offer training sessions for Christians in the Manchester area who want to learn more about sharing their faith. The Christian Life and Witness Course will be free, open to everyone, and no registration will be required.

BGEA will also provide free buses for churches that would like to bring a coach filled with people who need to hear a message of good news.

About the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association
Founded by Billy Graham in 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) shares the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. Billy Graham had a profound love and appreciation for the United Kingdom, and he established BGEA’s UK office in London in 1954. Mr. Graham went on to preach in the UK more than any other place outside of the United States.

About Franklin Graham

Franklin Graham is continuing the lifelong work of his father. Since his first evangelistic event with BGEA in 1989, he has held more than 345 outreaches in over 55 countries and territories, including 12 in the United Kingdom since 1999. Revd Graham recently preached in Brussels, Belgium, where more than 14,000 people heard a message of God’s love in an overflowing arena. Earlier this year, Graham shared the Gospel in London, England, and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. In the coming months, he is looking forward to proclaiming the hope of Jesus Christ in Buenos Aires, Argentina; Nagaland, India; Siem Reap, Cambodia; Lima, Peru; and in Madrid, Spain. Graham also convened the European Congress on Evangelism in May, which brought more than 1,000 Christian leaders from 55 countries in Europe to Berlin, Germany.

In addition to serving as president and CEO of BGEA, Franklin Graham also leads Samaritan’s Purse, which works in more than 100 countries, including Ukraine where the international Christian relief and development organisation has helped more than 14.5 million people by providing 126,000 tonnes of food as well as nearly 1,000 tonnes of emergency relief supplies on 43 airlifts. Samaritan’s Purse also operated five field hospitals and five medical clinics in the war-torn country, treating tens of thousands of patients.
