Franklin Graham to broadcast a message of hope from Israel on Easter Sunday

The Easter message, featuring musical guest Michael W. Smith, will air around the world on March 31

CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 25, 2024 – This Easter, hear Franklin Graham preach a timely message of hope from Israel on broadcast networks across the country and around the world.

“In Israel there is a lot of grief and a lot of sorrow, but it’s not just in Israel. We see this all over the world, and many people are wondering, ‘Is there any hope?’” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA). “As we celebrate Easter we celebrate an empty tomb. We celebrate a risen Savior. This is the hope that we have.”

On March 31 at 12 p.m. ET, Fox News will air the new 30-minute program, which features a message of hope from Graham as well as music from multi-platinum selling, three-time Grammy award-winning artist Michael W. Smith, including the world video premiere of his new song “Crimson Dust.”

“I think people are desperate,” said Smith during the program, “They tried to fill the void with all kinds of stuff. There’s nothing that fills it other than Jesus, and He’s the answer.”

In 2022, Graham delivered a message from war-torn Lviv, Ukraine. Last year, Graham’s “The New Birth: Easter from Rome” was filmed just outside of the Colosseum in Rome, Italy.

“Franklin Graham’s Easter Message from Israel,” recorded outside of the Old City of Jerusalem and the Garden Tomb, will not only air on Fox News, but also on Daystar, TBN, CBN, Newsmax, and over 90 local stations in various markets across the U.S. For viewers who miss the television broadcast, the special will also be available online at billygraham.org/israel/.
