Franklin Graham returning to Belfast to share powerful message of God’s love

Evangelical churches from many different denominations across Northern Ireland are coming together in unity and are partnering with Revd Franklin Graham and the God Loves You Tour because they believe this generation needs a message of hope. Christians throughout the country are inviting friends, family members, and neighbours to the free festival, which will take place at The O2 Belfast at 6 p.m. on 21-22 May 2027.

“We’re praying that God will do a mighty work through the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham in Belfast next year, drawing people from every background to hear the life-changing truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ,” said Pablo Murphy, senior pastor Newtownbreda Baptist Church. “We believe the Lord will transform lives, strengthen His church, and bring lasting hope to Belfast as His Word is faithfully proclaimed.”

Event preparations officially begin in Northern Ireland this week. Pastors will gather at a luncheon in Belfast on Thursday to pray and plan for the festival. In the months ahead, church leaders will start booking seats on free coaches for people who may not otherwise have a way to get to the event. The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will also offer free training classes to Christians who will come alongside those who respond to the Gospel message.

“Much has changed in Belfast since I last preached here in 2008, but the needs of the human heart haven’t changed,” said Revd Franklin Graham, president and CEO of BGEA. “People are continuing to search for meaning and purpose. I am looking forward to returning to this incredible city to share the Good News that God loves the people of Northern Ireland and we can all have a real and personal relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

The Belfast event will be the tenth stop of the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham. Since 2022, the tour has made eight stops in the UK, including Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, and South Wales. The tour has also visited London three times. Revd Graham will bring the evangelistic festival to Belfast after preaching in Manchester, England, next month, and shortly before he preaches in Dublin, Ireland, next year.

All are welcome to attend the free two-night event in Belfast which will also feature live music from award-winning international Christian artists whose names will be announced soon. To learn more and get involved, visit GodLovesYouTour.org.
