BUENOS AIRES, Oct. 2, 2025 — Excitement for Esperanza Buenos Aires is sweeping through the capital where more than 2,370 churches are planning, preparing, and praying for the historic gathering on November 7 and 8. Nearly 50,000 people have already booked seats on a fleet of 1,000 buses that will be coming to Estadio José Amalfitani.
“It’s encouraging to see so many people hungry to hear what God has to say—and I’m looking forward to being there,” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).
Rev. Graham has a heart for Latin America where he has preached 32 times in over 15 countries over the past three decades. This will be his third time preaching in Argentina since 2002.
“We are surrounded by so much fear and uncertainty today. Many are concerned about the upcoming election or the difficult circumstances in their lives. I want the people of this great city to know that the answers to life’s problems aren’t found in a religion, political party, job or relationship—they can only be found through putting your faith and trust in God’s Son, Jesus Christ.”
Thousands of Christians and churches have devoted themselves to praying for Esperanza Buenos Aires in the weeks leading up to the event. One of these churches is led by Pastor Christian Hooft, who also serves as the president of the National Association of Evangelical Churches (ACIERA). He said, “The churches of Buenos Aires are working together to see our city be transformed by the Gospel message and through the love of God that will pour into many hearts. But this is not just an event for the church or Christians—it’s a message of hope for people from all walks of life. I am convinced this will be a historic moment for all of Argentina.”
Everyone is welcome to attend the free and family-friendly two-night event, which will begin at 8:00 p.m. on Friday, November 7, and 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. There will be live music from different Christian artists each night, including Rescate, a local Argentinian Christian band, Latin Grammy-nominated rapper, Redimi2, Grammy-winning American musician Michael W. Smith, and award-winning U.S. worship leader Charity Gayle.

ABOUT FRANKLIN GRAHAM AND THE BILLY GRAHAM EVANGELISTIC ASSOCIATION
Founded by Billy Graham in 1950, the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association shares the Good News of Jesus Christ around the world. Franklin Graham is continuing the lifelong work of his father, Billy Graham, who preached to 259,000 people in Buenos Aires in November 1991. The event at Estadio Monumental had a tremendous impact on the church in Argentina and many of the people whose lives changed during that outreach are now partnering with Franklin Graham and BGEA to reach Buenos Aires once more with the power of the Gospel.
Franklin Graham held his first evangelistic event in 1989, and since then, he has preached at more than 345 outreaches in 55 countries. Earlier this year, Rev. Graham proclaimed the hope of Jesus Christ in Brussels, Belgium; London, England; and in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. After preaching in Buenos Aires, he is looking forward to sharing the Gospel in Nagaland, India; Siem Reap, Cambodia; Lima, Peru; and Madrid, Spain, in the coming months.
