“What is Truth?” to premiere nationwide on Easter Sunday, featuring special music from Johnny Cash, Charlie Daniels and Michael W. Smith
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 2, 2026 — Franklin Graham will preach a message titled “What is Truth?” on networks across the country on Easter Sunday. The program was filmed in Minneapolis, where civil unrest and fear have divided the city and state, and chaos has taken hold.
“It’s hard to understand the depth to which our country has fallen. The hatred, the violence, the crime—it’s rampant. It seems like the whole world is in conflict. In this time of division, many are wondering, where can we find truth?” said Franklin Graham, president and CEO of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. “Jesus told His disciples, ‘I am the way, the truth, and the life. No man comes to the Father except through Me.’ This is what Easter’s all about—our hope is in a risen Savior.”
On April 5 at 12 p.m. ET, Fox News will air the new 30-minute program, which features an encouraging message of God’s love from Graham as well as unforgettable performances from music legends Michael W. Smith, and the late Johnny Cash and Charlie Daniels.
In addition to Fox News, “Easter with Franklin Graham: What is Truth?” will air on TBN, Daystar, CBN, Newsmax, and over 100 local stations in various markets across the U.S. For viewers who miss the television broadcast, the special will also be available online at billygraham.org/truth/.
Franklin Graham has previously shared nationally televised Easter messages from fire-ravaged California following the Palisades and Eaton wildfires and New York City during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic, as well as war-torn Ukraine, the Colosseum in Rome, Italy, and from Jerusalem amid the conflict between Hamas and Israel.
The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has deep roots in Minneapolis, where its headquarters were located for more than 50 years. “What is Truth?” was filmed at the University of Northwestern—St. Paul—where Franklin Graham’s father, Billy Graham, once served as president.
