Fall events at the Billy Graham Library announced

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 15, 2021 – The Billy Graham Library has announced an exciting lineup of fall events including Hispanic Heritage Celebration Day, a Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner, and the annual favorite Bikers with Boxes. Also this fall, Anne Graham Lotz, daughter of the late Billy and Ruth Graham, and her daughter Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright will headline a book signing and dinner event in October.

Sept. 18, 9:30 a.m.-3 p.m.: Hispanic Heritage Celebration Day — The Billy Graham Library is hosting Hispanic Heritage Celebration Day in association with National Hispanic Heritage Month. This all-day event will include both indoor and outdoor activities including specialized Journey of Faith tours, a kids’ craft, and specials in the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar and discounts in Ruth’s Attic bookstore. There will also be special performances at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., with live music from Daniel Calveti and Raúl Sánchez, along with ventriloquist Yoly Pacheco.

Sept. 23, 5-8 p.m.: Law Enforcement Appreciation Dinner — Law enforcement officers and their families are invited to a special evening at the Library including a complimentary dinner, Journey of Faith tours, activities for children, and a discount in the Ruth’s Attic bookstore. Oct. 2: Anne Graham Lotz and Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright
1-3 p.m.: Book Signing — Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, will sign copies of their book Jesus Followers at a prerelease book signing. Jesus Followers shares a glimpse into the family life of Billy Graham’s daughter and granddaughter through funny, awe-inspiring, and heart-wrenching stories, and practical wisdom for raising the next generation of Jesus followers.

No preregistration is required for the book signing. Books will be available for purchase in the Ruth’s Attic bookstore. Additional information can be found at BillyGrahamLibrary.org/event/AGL-RRW-booksigning/.

6-8 p.m.: Dinner —The Library will host a dinner with Anne Graham Lotz and her daughter, Rachel-Ruth Lotz Wright, as they share special insights from their new book, Jesus Followers, in an interview-style program that will be featured later on The Billy Graham Channel on Sirius XM radio. The evening will feature a seated dinner and each guest will receive a presigned copy of Jesus Followers. Registration is required for dinner; tickets are $50 per person. Oct. 16, 9:30 a.m.-2 p.m.: Bikers with Boxes — The 14th annual Bikers with Boxes charity event brings together motorcyclists from across the region toting gift-filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Attendees will enjoy special speakers, fellowship, giveaways, and complimentary lunch (offered from 11:30 a.m.-1 p.m.).
