Fall events announced at the Billy Graham Library, including a special exhibit remembering the terrorist attacks of 9/11

Guests are invited to attend Kidzfest, a book signing with Billy Graham’s granddaughter, and the annual Bikers With Boxes

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 8, 2026 — This fall, the Billy Graham Library has events for the whole family to encourage you in your daily life.

Rated the No. 1 thing to do in Charlotte on TripAdvisor, the Library offers a unique experience for the whole family. Guests who visit the Library can experience the interactive Journey of Faith tour—which highlights the message of hope that Billy Graham preached for more than 80 years—as well as the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar, Ruth’s Attic bookstore, the Graham family homeplace, the memorial prayer garden and more.

Sept. 11, 8 a.m.: 9/11 Prayer Breakfast — Will Graham, son of Franklin Graham, will share a message of hope on the 25th anniversary of 9/11, just as his grandfather, Billy Graham, did at the National Day of Remembrance following the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Charlotte Mayor Rob Harrington, Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department Chief Estella Patterson, and Charlotte Fire Department Chief Reginald Johnson, will also speak at the invitation-only event.

Sept. 12, 9:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.: Kidzfest — Bring your children, grandchildren or church group to this fun-filled event featuring outdoor inflatables, crafts, snacks and more! Sept. 25, 11:30 a.m.–1 p.m.: Leadership Luncheon — Come and enjoy a delicious lunch and hear from Charlotte’s Coca-Cola Consolidated executives Frank Harrison and Mark Whitacre as they share about faith, transformational leadership, and how to glorify God in the workplace. Oct. 9, 11 a.m. –12 p.m.: Live Podcast with Cissie Graham Lynch — Join Cissie Graham Lynch, granddaughter of Billy Graham and daughter of Franklin Graham, for a live Fearless podcast recording about her new book, “Stand Steady.” Learn what it means to reject today’s watered-down version of womanhood and live faithfully for God’s Word in a compromising culture. Tickets to the live podcast are $20 and include a signed copy of Stand Steady. At 12:30

Oct. 17, 10 a.m.–2 p.m.: Bikers With Boxes — The 19th annual Bikers With Boxes charity event brings together motorcyclists from across the region toting gift-filled shoeboxes for Operation Christmas Child. Through Oct. 31: Special Exhibit — “Sharing Hope in Crisis: How a Global Ministry was Born Out of the Tragedy of 9/11” — Through archival photos, videos and artifacts from the tragic events of Sept. 11, 2001, guests see how Billy Graham and Franklin Graham shared God’s love with survivors, first responders—and a shocked and grieving nation. Visitors can also discover how the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team was born out of the outreach to those in and around Ground Zero.
