Evangelistic festival with Franklin Graham coming to Dublin in historic first

Evangelical churches across Ireland are seeing the answer to many years of prayers as they begin to prepare for the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham. Christians throughout the country are inviting friends, family members, and neighbours to the free festival, which will take place at 3Arena in Dublin at 6 p.m. on 28-29 May 2027.

“As an Irish pastor, I’m truly grateful to see this event at the 3Arena because it is truly an answered prayer to so many,” said Pastor John Ahern, senior pastor of All Nations Church in Dublin. “We believe it is a very timely visit, considering the dark and uncertain days we are living in. Ireland is grappling with many serious issues right now, and our institutions don’t have any answers. Saint Patrick was sent to Ireland after hearing ‘the voice of the Irish,’ and I have no doubt that Franklin Graham will likewise bring a good word of truth and reality to people at this time.”

Evangelical churches from many different denominations across Ireland are coming together in unity and partnering with Revd Franklin Graham and the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) because they believe this generation needs a message of hope.

Event preparations officially begin today in Dublin where pastors will gather at a luncheon to pray and plan for the festival. In the months ahead, church leaders will book seats on free coaches for people who may not otherwise have a way to get to the event. BGEA will also offer free training classes to Christians who will come alongside those who respond to the Gospel message.

“This will be my first time in this beautiful country, and I couldn’t be more excited to preach in Dublin. My father Billy Graham always wanted to preach here as well, but never had the opportunity, so it is a great privilege and honor to have been invited to come share the hope of Jesus Christ,” said Revd Franklin Graham, president and CEO of BGEA. “The message that I bring is not about religion. It’s about having a relationship with God, and I’m looking forward to sharing the message that God loves the people of Ireland, and we can have a real and personal relationship with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.”

The Dublin event will be the eleventh stop of the God Loves You Tour with Franklin Graham. Since 2022, the tour has made eight stops in the UK, including Liverpool, Birmingham, Glasgow, Sheffield, and South Wales. The tour has also visited London three times. Revd Graham is looking forward to bringing the evangelistic festival to Dublin in 2027 after preaching in Manchester, England, on 3 October 2026, and Belfast, Northern Ireland, on 21-22 May 2027.

All are welcome to attend the free two-night event in Dublin which will also feature live music from award-winning international Christian artists whose names will be announced soon. To learn more and get involved, visit GodLovesYouTour.org.
