Evangelist Will Graham to headline Celebration Rally on Feb. 5 at Grace Church of Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, Va., Feb. 1, 2022 – Evangelist Will Graham will return to Fredericksburg on Feb. 5 to speak at a Celebration Rally at Grace Church of Fredericksburg. The Celebration Rally, which is free and open to everyone, is one of many local events leading up to the Rappahannock Area Celebration with Will Graham, scheduled to take place June 25, 2022, at the Fredericksburg Expo Center.

“As we continue to build momentum toward the Rappahannock Area Celebration, it’s important to gather together, pray, worship, and be encouraged,” said Graham, who previously visited Fredericksburg in November 2021 to announce the upcoming evangelistic outreach. “The churches are excited, folks are energized, and I believe that God is preparing to do amazing things across the region in the months ahead.”

Graham will be joined for the Celebration Rally by Josh Havens and Matt Fuqua of the award-winning Christian rock band The Afters. A consistent and popular presence on the Christian music scene for more than a decade, The Afters have garnered multiple top five hits on the Billboard Praise & Worship charts. Their music has also been featured on several primetime network television shows.

Bob Hickling, who is directing the Rappahannock Area Celebration on behalf of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association, said, “The Celebration Rally is a perfect opportunity for the churches and believers of the area to come together and enjoy incredible music and a message of hope, while prayerfully looking forward to even greater things to come.”

Seating for the Celebration Rally is first come, first served. No RSVP is required. Attendees are encouraged to follow CDC guidelines for being in public places. Organizers ask those who are sick, experiencing symptoms of COVID-19, or are in a high-risk group, to please stay home.

The Celebration Rally was originally scheduled for Jan. 8, but was postponed after a massive snowstorm closed roads and knocked out power in the Fredericksburg area.
