RAPID CITY, S.D., Aug. 24, 2021 –
One month from today, the Black Hills Paha Sapa Celebration with Will Graham will officially begin in Rapid City. Volunteers from 148 churches representing 31 denominations across the region are working together to host the Celebration, which will take place Sept. 24-26, 2021, at The Monument.

“Today we are just one month away from the Celebration taking place in Rapid City,” said Major General Jeff Marlette, who is providing local leadership as co-chair to the Celebration process. “At a time when the world seems to be spinning out of control around us, I am excited to hear Will Graham share God’s message of hope and to see what God has in store for our community.”

The Black Hills Paha Sapa Celebration with Will Graham is a free and family-friendly three-day outreach. It will feature concerts by award-winning Christian bands The Afters, Kari Jobe, Cochren & Co., Lacey Sturm and FLAME, as well as hope-filled messages from Will Graham of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA).

“We’ve been so encouraged by the churches that have united to bring this message of hope in Jesus Christ to the Rapid City area,” said Dawn Reber, BGEA’s co-director of the Black Hills Paha Sapa Celebration. “It’s clear to us that God is planning to do something major here next month, and we’re excited to see all of the work and prayer come to fruition.”
