Granddaughter of Billy Graham, and daughter of Franklin Graham, to greet guests with exclusive prerelease access to new book
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 30, 2026 — Cissie Graham Lynch, a native North Carolinian and first-time author, is set to launch her new book, Stand Steady—which encourages women to live with uncommon strength and courage in uncertain times—at the Billy Graham Library in Charlotte, North Carolina.
“The world tells us that women can do anything, and by that it means that there are no moral boundaries or no need for discernment. When truth is blurred and God’s design is just dismissed, women aren’t strengthened,” said Lynch. “Stand Steady starts with a question—what kind of woman do you want to be? My heart and my prayer through this book is that we would be a generation that remains faithful, and that we would be women who choose Jesus.”
On Oct. 9, Lynch will record an episode of her Fearless podcast in front of a live audience beginning at 11 a.m. Guests to the event will receive a signed copy of Stand Steady: Fearless Faith in a Compromising Culture with the $20 event ticket. Immediately following, Lynch will hold a free book signing at the Billy Graham Library where advance copies of Stand Steady will be available for purchase at Ruth’s Attic bookstore.
Lynch has spent that last 20 years in ministry following in the footsteps of her grandfather, Billy Graham, and father, Franklin Graham, in boldly standing for the Gospel and living according to Biblical standards in a culture that doesn’t align. Since 2010, she has worked around the world as part of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association and Samaritan’s Purse. While Lynch is a new author, her Fearless podcast—which launched in 2019—has amassed more than 1.4 million downloads.

Earlier this month, President Donald Trump nominated Lynch to be the U.S. Ambassador at Large for International Religious Freedom. If confirmed, she would lead the State Department’s Office of International Religious Freedom, serving as the principal adviser to the president and the secretary of state and acting as the chief U.S. diplomat for global religious liberty. During the first Trump administration, Lynch served on the President’s Faith Advisory Council.
