Guests of all ages invited for Easter, Ladies Tea and book signing events
CHARLOTTE, N.C., March 16, 2021 –The Billy Graham Library welcomes visitors to upcoming spring events including a book signing with Billy Graham’s pastor, Dr. Don Wilton, and Easter at the Library.
Guests who visit the Library this spring, and at any point throughout the year, can experience The Journey of Faith – an interactive tour highlighting the message of hope that Billy Graham preached for more than 80 years – the Graham Brothers Dairy Bar, Ruth’s Attic bookstore, the Graham family homeplace, the memorial prayer garden, and more.
March 27, 9:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m.: Easter at the Library — The family-friendly Easter at the Library event features the Resurrection Quest—where children and adults, together, can look for clues that tell a Biblical account of the Easter story as they walk through the Library’s Journey of Faith tour. Other activities include story time, crafts, and a photo booth to capture images with your family.
While admission is free, there is a $10 charge for those wishing to do the craft project. Reservations for the Resurrection Quest and crafts are recommended as space is limited. Each family will also receive a free copy of a special Billy Graham Classics DVD to take home.
April 24, 2 p.m.: Ladies Tea and Tour — Ladies of all ages are invited to attend the 14th Annual Ladies Tea and Tour. The event will feature an elegant tea, uplifting music, and an encouraging message from Adrienne “Adie” Camp, a South African singer and songwriter, author, and wife of Christian recording artist Jeremy Camp.
Tickets are $35 per person. Seating is limited. Purchase tickets at BillyGrahamLibrary.org.
May 1, 1-3 p.m.: Book Signing with Darryl Strawberry — Legendary, retired, all-star MLB player Darryl Strawberry will sign copies of his book Turn Your Season Around: How God Transforms Your Life. For anyone ready to move their life forward from tragedy, personal failure, unfair circumstances, or just a sense of being stuck, Strawberry offers scriptural insights and real-life examples of how you can enjoy a future filled with power, purpose, and freedom.
Turn Your Season Around will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore at the Billy Graham Library, or guests may bring their own copy.
May 6, 1-3 p.m.: Book Signing with Dr. Don Wilton — Dr. Don Wilton, pastor and friend of Rev. Billy Graham, will sign copies of his newest book, Saturdays with Billy: My Friendship with Billy Graham at the Billy Graham Library. Wilton shares memories of special times with Graham and looks behind the scenes of the late evangelist’s life, which continues to inspire us in our own spiritual journeys.
Saturdays with Billy will be available for purchase in Ruth’s Attic bookstore at the Billy Graham Library, or guests may bring their own copy.
