Billy Graham Evangelistic Association invites Hispanic Pastors and Leaders to “Summits de Evangelismo”

CHARLOTTE, N.C., Sept. 6, 2023 –The Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) will encourage and train Hispanic pastors through a series of events happening across the country this fall. “Summits de Evangelismo” (Evangelism Summits) are tailored exclusively for pastors and leaders of Spanish-speaking churches. These Summits will take place in four key cities:

  • McAllen, Texas (Sept. 30)
  • Phoenix, Arizona (Oct. 7)
  • El Paso, Texas (Oct. 14)
  • San Diego, California (Oct. 28)

The Summits will feature a diverse lineup of speakers, times of worship and prayer, and networking for attendees.

“Pastors are exhausted and facing challenges like never before. Times are urgent, and the Hispanic community is a great force for the Kingdom,” said Chris Swanson, vice president of Hispanic Initiatives for the BGEA. “We are excited to have these moments together to encourage these leaders and to help create relationships among Hispanic pastors.”

The launch of the Hispanic Initiatives Ministry in 2021 marked a significant moment for BGEA, emphasizing its commitment to reaching the nearly 61 million Spanish-speaking people living in the U.S. The BGEA’s “Summits de Evangelismo” are designed to foster a sense of unity and encourage collaboration among attendees. These events seek to equip Hispanic leaders with the tools they need to effectively spread the Gospel message.

The events are free and include lunch for the first 300 people to register in each location. Any pastor or leader of an evangelical church in the United States is invited to participate. To learn more or to register for BGEA’s “Summits de Evangelismo,” visit summitevangelismo.com.
