SANTIAGO, Sept. 10, 2026 – Nearly 1,500 evangelical churches throughout the capital are partnering with the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA) for Esperanza Santiago with Franklin Graham. Everyone is invited to attend the free and family-friendly events that will take place at 6 p.m. on January 23-24, 2027, at Claro Arena.
“The evangelical churches in Santiago have invited me to return to Chile and preach, and I couldn’t be more excited. It has been more than 20 years since I preached in Temuco. Much has changed in this beautiful country since then, but the needs of the human heart haven’t changed,” said Rev. Franklin Graham, president and CEO of BGEA. “People are continuing to search for meaning and purpose. There are many people who think religion is the answer. But it’s not about having a religion, it’s about having a real and personal relationship with God through His Son, Jesus Christ. I’m excited to return to Chile to share this message of Good News with the people of Santiago.”
Nearly 42,000 evangelical Christians across the capital are already partnering with Esperanza Santiago, and more are joining each day as excitement continues to build. This is a unique opportunity for evangelical churches across the capital to work alongside each other, and tens of thousands of Christians are praying for the festival and inviting people who need to hear a message of hope and God’s love. BGEA is also offering 630 free buses that will bring people who would have otherwise had difficulty coming to the stadium.
In addition to a message from Rev. Graham, Esperanza Santiago will feature live music from award-winning international Christian artists whose names will be announced soon. To learn more, visit: https://billygraham.org/events/esperanza-santiago.

Graham is currently overseeing the ministry’s disaster responses to the catastrophic flooding in Nepal, the deadly earthquakes in Venezuela and Colombia, the Ebola outbreak in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and the wars in the Middle East, Sudan, and Ukraine. In Chile, Samaritan’s Purse has distributed more than 1.3 million gift-filled shoeboxes to children since 2003 as part of its Operation Christmas Child project.
