Free noon events feature music, prayer, and evangelistic messages from Will Graham
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 21, 2026 – As the United States commemorates its 250th year in 2026, evangelist Will Graham has been traveling throughout the original 13 colonies this fall to pray and to proclaim the Good News of the Gospel. Following successful events throughout the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, the Declaration of Dependence Tour with Will Graham will culminate next week with visits to the Southern states of North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia.
“It seems that many across the nation are declaring their independence from God. They don’t want Him in their lives. At the same time, I believe that now is the moment to turn back to our Savior—thanking Him for His faithfulness and truly acknowledging our dependence on Him,” said Graham. “At the Declaration of Dependence Tour, we’ll spend time in prayer and praise. Then I’ll share the timeless truth of the Gospel and give people a chance to respond and place their faith in Jesus.”
The Declaration of Dependence Tour will be held at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington, North Carolina, on Oct. 26, Unity Park in Greenville, South Carolina, on Oct. 28, and Forsyth Park in Savannah, Georgia, on Oct. 30. Each event will take place at noon, and last approximately 60 minutes—making it possible to participate during the lunch hour.
“Even in the South, a lot of people don’t know who Jesus is. People think because it is the Bible Belt, that everybody must go to church and know Jesus, but there are so many individuals who are searching for the Gospel, searching for hope, and need the Lord. We want to do everything we can to reach them and share the hope that we have,” said Darren Thomas, senior pastor of The Church at Godley Station in Savannah. “I’m excited to see believers come together to pray for our country and for the world. But, also, I hope that many people will be drawn to the park and hear the Gospel, and I pray that it will sink into their hearts.”
More than 3,750 people have attended the first ten stops of the Tour across the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions, with over 220 making decisions for Christ at the events.
